Casserole
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing (17.5 oz each)
- 4 large eggs
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Glaze
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (for thinning glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Cut Cinnamon Rolls: Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and arrange them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Make Custard: In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until fully combined.
- Assemble Casserole: Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces and press gently so each piece is coated and absorbs the liquid.
- Bake: Bake the casserole uncovered in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the mixture is puffed, golden, and cooked through.
- Make the Glaze: While the casserole cools slightly, combine softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk in a bowl. Mix until smooth and well blended, adjusting the milk amount to achieve desired glaze consistency.
- Finish and Serve: Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the warm casserole, add any reserved cinnamon roll icing and additional maple syrup if desired. Slice the casserole and serve warm for a delicious breakfast treat.

- Add chopped nuts or raisins to the casserole for extra texture and flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup and glaze.
- Serve with fresh fruit or whipped cream for a complete breakfast experience.
